System Load Indicator: A handy tool to monitor system resources

Here I'm going to share a handy tool which will help you to monitor your system resources easily. The tool is System Load Monitor.


It shows graphs of your resource usage in top panel of unity (Bottom panel of Gnome Shell ) . Clicking on this graph you'll get detailed figures of your resource usage.

You can configure the resources which you wants to monitor from it's Preferences. 





Installation: 

Debian(i.e. ubuntu , mint) users can install this tool by firing following commands from terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-multiload/stable-daily
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install indicator-multiload


Alternatively you can also download source from here and compile it manually.
